We’re planning a family mindfulness retreat this summer (July 23–26) with our friends from Stream —a chance to step out of the usual pace of life and spend intentional time together.
This short survey (3–5 minutes) will help us shape something meaningful for families like yours. Registration will open after we’ve had a chance to review this input.

The Setting:
Hosted at Jericho House in Port Colborne, Ontario, the retreat offers a comfortable, natural setting with modern accommodations and all meals included. Each family will have a private room (sleeping up to five) with its own ensuite bathroom.
Set on 17 acres of Carolinian forest backing onto conservation land, the property includes swimming at a nearby quarry (a three-minute walk), nature trails, a labyrinth, a campfire space, and Lake Erie about 1 km away—an ideal place to settle in.
The Weekend:
We anticipate gathering up to 18 families, creating a small, close-knit community for the weekend (Thursday evening to Sunday).
The schedule will be flexible, with a mix of shared time as a full group along with opportunities for children, teens, and adults to participate in age-appropriate or interest-based activities.
A chance to live simply and intentionally alongside other families—to share meals, time, and practice mindfulness in a way that feels a like a village.
What the days might include:
Yoga, meditation, breathwork
Time outdoors—walks, swimming, and play
Creative activities and crafts
Circle time and shared conversations
Music, singing, dance and evening camp fires
Age specific options for parents, teens, and children
Have a question or idea?
We’d love to hear from you—feel free to reach out as this comes together.
