We now have decades of studies and neuroscience showing the power of meditation and mindfulness practices to improve so many aspects of our lives. For us, the purpose isn’t merely to reduce stress or to feel better during practice (although this is nice), it’s an opportunity to make fundamental discoveries about the nature of reality that can transform the entire human experience.

With skillful guidance we can discover the craving and aversion at the root of our suffering. We can learn to receive our experience with kindness, compassion, and equanimity; cultivating peace, wisdom, and a foundation of present moment loving awareness. We can wake up from identification with thought (ego) and experience the pure timeless self, from which life becomes more beautiful and flows naturally!

When we gain the ability to observe our experience without being lost in the trance of thinking, we can start to make these important discoveries and realizations that reduce suffering, bringing more peace, compassion, and joy into our lives! Meditation is not about trying to stop the flow of thoughts, but simply observing them as they appear and disappear. We can learn to steady our mind with our breath or physical sensations. This creates space to notice our feelings, emotions, thinking patterns and the past conditioning of our mind. This space for observation allows insights into the ways our perception is responsible for how we experience life. We can become aware of the flow of constantly changing moods, sense data and thoughts as a part of the dance of life; the law of impermanence at play.

In our teaching and guidance we draw from many different meditation styles and techniques such as the Buddhadharma, Advaita Vedanta, self inquiry, mindfulness and practices of loving kindness. We would love to work with you to discover what is most beneficial for you at this point in your journey.

Testimonials

“Attending My Heart's Path was truly life changing! As someone who sought interest in mindfulness and meditation but didn't know where to start, this 6-week course provided the foundation, information, and inspiration to kick-start my spiritual journey. I learned so much by connecting, being vulnerable, and sharing thoughts with the same group of people every week. But more importantly, Brayden and Jacqueline bring a wealth of knowledge and experience in this field, allowing you to walk away with SO much valuable information and life lessons to implement day-to-day.” - Brooklyn

"Both Brayden and Jacqueline easily gained my utmost respect and appreciation as friends long BEFORE I ever began practicing my mindfulness journey with them. Since then, they have helped introduce me to many techniques and practices that have helped me start to noticeably improve as a person, husband, father, brother, son, and friend. I now have even more respect and appreciation for them along with absolute pure LOVE for them and what they offer to anyone willing to venture inwards." - Adam

“Brayden and Jaqueline are a unique couple with a gentle and supportive energetic flow. You can feel their authentic love and compassion for personal growth and self-care as they share their experiential journey and learning on the spiritual path together.”_ “I have appreciated their insights and expertise over the past few months. Through the weekly guided meditations, it is evident that Brayden has found his true calling as a spiritual mentor. In each session I have been reminded of exactly what I have forgotten or needed to relearn in that particular space and time.”_ “I am so grateful for their love, their support and their co-creation of a spiritual community that I was really missing in my life. Namaste.” - Heather
